Echoes by the Sea is a self-initiated children’s book project that brings together writing and illustration to explore the culture of Mumbai’s Worli Koliwada. Told in a voice suited for young readers, the book gently captures the Koli community’s traditions, everyday life and deep connection to the sea through a concise, poetic narrative.
