Project Overview
Brief
Created as a graphic design assignment at École Intuit Lab, Mumbai, the project involved adapting the original House of Cards (1953) by Charles and Ray Eames into a new conceptual direction. The aim was to reinterpret the format while grounding it in a meaningful contemporary theme.
Solution
I reimagined the card set as House of Body Modifications, using the modular structure to explore the many ways humans alter and reclaim their bodies. Each card reflects different practices - from traditional rituals to modern tattoos, piercings, and unconventional modifications - reframing body modification as an act of expression rather than spectacle.
My Role
Conceptualized the theme and narrative direction. Developed the visual system and card designs. Adapted the original format while preserving its playful, exploratory nature.
